Our AromaTherapy AirPurifier

Our AirPurifier uses water to create natural negative ions

It works like this... in nature, the crashing of water on rocks at the beach, at a waterfall or even when it rains... all these events release thousands of natural negative ions into the air that we breathe!

Similarly, our water-based AromaTherapy Diffuser/AirPurifier also releases thousands of these natural negative ions into your home, without getting anything wet!

What are Negative Ions?
Negative ions are molecules that have gained one or more extra negatively charged electrons
How are Negative Ions Generated Naturally?
To create balance in nature, massive amounts of negative ions are naturally generated every second of every day; when water molecules crash against another surface, negative ions are released and the oxygen molecules in the atmosphere pick up these ions, becoming negatively charged. The air literally becomes electrified!

Sources:

  • dense forest
  • fast-moving rivers
  • rain and rainstorms
  • crashing water from waterfalls
  • lightening generated during a thunderstorm (see diagram below)
  • crashing water from ocean waves pounding the surf and the rocks
Comparrison to our Living Environment
Nature can produce thousands and up to tens of thousands of negative ions, as measured per cubic centimeter.

Much more negative ions in nature than the average home [which may only contain dozens of negative ions] or average office building [which may only contain hundreds], while some homes and office buildings register a flat zero*
How do Negative Ions, "Purify the Air"?

Virtually all airborne particles have a positive charge, while negative ions have a negative charge. When there is a high volume of negative ions in the air, they will attract to floating particles in large numbers

Because of this magnetic attraction to one another, the particles become too heavy to remain airborne, slowly settling down everywhere in our homes

Studies have also shown that bacteria cannot survive in areas that have high negative ion counts coupled with low positive ion counts, so the longer that you introduce negative ions into your home on a consistent basis, the healthier your home becomes!
What Health Problems do Natural Negative Ions help with?
  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • COPD
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Stress
  • Insomnia
  • Memory Loss
  • many more...

Natural negative ions are often referred to as:
• "The Vitamins of the Air" - they create vitality!
• "Nature's Anti-Depressant" - a breath of fresh air!
• "Nature's Sedative" - calming, healing and pain-relieveing effect
If we are tired, negative ions give us energy
If we are stressed, negative ions help us relax
If we are experiencing insomnia, negative ions help us sleep

Negative ions give us what we need to function normally, the way nature intended!

Have you ever taken a shower and suddenly, you:
  • remembered something really important?
  • solved a problem you've been working on?
  • wished you had a notepad and pen?

Have you ever noticed how clear your mind is, while:
  • the waves crash around you while swimming, waterskiing or wake boarding on a lake or river?
  • walking around or under a waterfall?
  • you feel exhilarated and energized, during and after it rains?
  • your stress levels plummet, after hiking around rushing water and waterfalls?
It's because the burst of negative ions are bombarding your body, entering your lungs and going into your bloodstream. Batteries feeling low? Think, "Energizing"!
Now that you know why you would benefit from an AirPurifier in your home, "Why our Purifier?"
